Sponsor-A-Pet

With a monthly $15 contribution a person can sponsor a cat or dog in the shelter. This will help pay for it’s food, medical care, and the cost of housing the animal. In return, we will send the contributor pictures and information on the pet for as long as it is in the shelter, and keep the sponsor updated and let them know when the animal is adopted.

We take in a lot of animals each month, and it costs us a lot more to take care of the animals properly. If they have health problems, we get them the medical care that they need and make them well again.

We now spay and neuter animals prior to adoption and by sponsoring a pet, you will help ensure that we can continue to offer this service to our adopters AND the community. Spaying and neutering is the key to ending unplanned litters.

We also have some animals that are on special diets for health problems or to help prevent obesity. These special foods cost us a little bit more. This program can help ensure that these pets will get the care that they need. It is especially great for people who want to help the animals but cannot adopt an animal at this time.
